Tyler brings a strong background in rural healthcare leadership, operations, finance, strategic growth, and community engagement. Most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer of a rural 120-bed acute care hospital, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving patient care, strengthening healthcare organizations, and supporting the teams that make quality healthcare possible.
Tyler's healthcare journey began as a volunteer and later included a variety of frontline and ancillary support roles, including service as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Those early experiences provided firsthand insight into patient care and the daily operations of healthcare organizations, ultimately inspiring him to pursue a career in healthcare leadership.
Over the course of his career, Tyler has held progressively responsible leadership positions and has successfully led operational and financial improvement initiatives, expanded specialty and outpatient services, recruited and developed healthcare professionals, and fostered partnerships that improved access to care in rural communities. His passion for rural healthcare, combined with his commitment to patients, providers, staff, and community members, aligns closely with the mission and values of Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital.
Tyler holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Healthcare Management and remains actively engaged in professional development and healthcare leadership initiatives. He is a graduate of the National Rural Health Association's Rural Hospital CEO Certification Program and a current participant in the American College of Healthcare Executives Executive Program. His dedication to continuous learning, leadership development, and community service has earned recognition throughout his healthcare career.
As Tyler begins this new chapter with our organization in July, we encourage everyone to offer a warm welcome and support as he gets to know our team, our patients, and our community. We are excited about the future and look forward to working together under his leadership to continue providing exceptional care and advancing the health of the communities we serve.
