TCLMH is proud to have an active and well-organized Auxiliary. Our strength lies in our volunteers. They are totally dedicated to the hospital and give freely of themselves and their time.

Here's how!

The Auxiliary offers two forms of membership for individuals, organizations or businesses:

As an Active member you can volunteer to help at your convenience and offer support by an annual or lifetime membership donation.
As an Inactive member you are unable to volunteer your time, but wish to offer support by an annual or lifetime membership donation.
Annual Membership: $5.00
Lifetime Membership: $100.00.

About the Auxiliary

The Hospital Auxiliary was organized in 1955. In 1956 the Auxiliary began sponsoring the "Pink Lady Cart" three days a week. The cart offered patients and visitors a variety of items including candies, note cards, thank you cards, Kleenex and hand lotion.

In 1979, the Auxiliary was reorganized and became associated with the State Organization. Through the hard work and dedication of the auxiliary members, a Hospital Gift Shop was opened with a Grand Opening Celebration held on May 18, 1980. The Gift Shop started as seven small cabinets that were locked every night until the Auxiliary earned enough money to purchase a gate. Now the gift shop has its own room with many wonderful items. All proceeds from the gift shop are used to purchase equipment or other items needed for the Hospital.

With major remodeling completed in 2025, the gift shop location was moved to the new main entrance to hospital, clinic, and outpatient services. The gift shop is now the very first thing you see when entering. This allows for an open invitation to enter the shop, say hello and browse if so desired.
