The Inpatient Services Department provides care to inpatients and outpatients of all ages that require medical care. The entire health care team works together to deliver your care in a well-coordinated, comprehensive manner focusing on preventive health and your wellbeing. - Some invasive and Non-invasive medical procedures (EKG, Cardiac monitoring, wound care, ultrasound guided IV placement, along with a PICC line placement team)
Swingbed Services
Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital is equipped and ready to take patients with a new condition or worsening chronic condition. When your loved one requires a range of non-acute services from skilled to intermediate care, Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital offers a Medicare sponsored Swing-Bed program. Although our swing bed program is sponsored by Medicare, we also accept many types of private insurance. This program provides transitional care for patients possibly recovering from surgery, injury, or illness. During a their stay, patients receive daily skilled services which may include: Physical therapy, Respiratory therapy, IV therapy, Wound care, and skilled nursing cares. Swing bed patients are reviewed weekly by a care management team. Daily actives and education designed to meet the patients unique needs are offered and encouraged.
